Joan Manheimer Title: Psychologist Primary Location: Denver

Dr. Manheimer received her B.A. from Wellesley Colelge and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The City University of New York.  She completed her internship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York in 1992.  Dr. Manheimer has been in private practice in Denver since 1994 and has been on the faculty of the University of Colorado Reproductive Medicine practice since 1997. 

Dr. Manheimer is affiliated with RESOLVE, the national infertility support organization,  and has offered counseling, support groups and workshops for individuals and couples wrestling with infertility for over fifteen years.  Her work has focused on loss and grief, relationship conflict, decision making, and stress reduction related to infertility.  She has screened egg and sperm donors and offered couples assistance with various non-genetic parenting options such as sperm donation, egg donation, embryo adoption, surrogate parenting and adoption.
